About OpenVine

OpenVine — Open Source Camera App

MIT
OpenVine is a camera app inspired by the mechanics of the classic Vine application. It allows you to create short, looping videos with ease. Features:
  • The app records only while you keep the big red button pressed.
  • You can release the button to change angles or scenes. Once you have recorded a total of 6 seconds, the app automatically stitches all the clips together into a single video file.
  • This is purely a camera utility. There is no external server, no account login, and no cloud tracking.
  • Videos are stored locally on your device. You can easily forward them to instant messengers, email, or social networks using the built-in Android share functionality.
Artistic effects: The selfie camera may record upside-down on certain devices. This is definitely not a bug but an artistic choice. If you do not want to record upside down, rotate your phone by 180 degrees before recording selfies.
